here at Irish design shop, we look forward to Culture Night each year with great anticipation! and this year its bigger than ever with over 120 cultural organisations in Dublin opening their doors for a whole host of free activities until late. Irish design shop and studios will be open until midnight for fun and frolics! early visitors can enjoy jewellery making demonstrations by ourselves, and throughout the evening the resident artists and designers wil have their work on display. the studios will be open to the public and the artists will be milling around. Culture night marks the first event held in our newly renovated building so we hope many of you will join us for a glass of wine to celebrate!
we still need to finish our wonderful painting job on the building and erect our new signage, but we are, as ever hopeful the job will be complete on time.
Finally we have some lovely new work in the shop including woven and knitted products from Shuttleknit as well as jewellery and accessories from Angela Cuthill. Later in the week we will be receiving more jewellery and homewares from Rachel Mc Knight, so our little shop will be stocked to the rafters for the big night on friday!
