Created from rectangular brass bar, these earrings hang beautifully and are comfortable to wear. The corresponding corners on each earring were filed at an angle, highlighting the contrasting matte and polished surfaces. A silver earring post is soldered within a cut-out on each brass shape. Available in either rose or yellow 18 carat gold plating.

Contradictory to her name, Rose was a tough woman who ran the family grocery shop in Rathmines. In addition, she kept hens and Geese and grew vegetables in her garden. During the Rising, she hid a group of IRA men in the pig sty in her garden. Rose was Laura’s great grandmother.

The earrings are approx 1.5cm sq.
