Mini Bláinid earrings
Earrings

These earrings are super fine, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. Formed in 1.5mm square silver wire, the polished elements reflect light and complement the matte finish. The Bláinid earrings have a lovely sense of movement, a joy to wear. Available in either sterling silver or 9ct gold, these earrings are also available in a larger, statement size here.
Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers. Bláinid Reddin was a Dublin waitress, and part of Muriel Gahan's cooperative movement of the 1930's.
Each earring measures 3cm long and 2cm wide, hanging off a 4mm circular stud.

Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
