Irish Linen Ghost

Using the off-cuts and salvage from her garment making, Katie creates little embellished hanging decorations for all seasons. Perfect for souvenirs or mementos, each decoration is handcrafted with beautiful and traditional 100% Irish linen. The hand-embellished beadwork (a portion of the beading is reclaimed), gives a little festive sparkle to each decoration. Also available are the linen pumpkins and Christmas decorations. Made with love in Katie's Belfast studio.
Each ghost measures 8.5cm in height x 8cm in width. It hangs on a twinkly gold string. Slight variances will occur as each linen ghost is handmade.
Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
