A fresh take on a classic dairy jug which also serves as a perfect vase or water jug. Wheel thrown in durable earthenware by master potter Caroline Dolan in her Kilkenny studio, this beautifully tactile dairy jug is available in three subtle glazes; primrose yellow, pale teal or Spring blue. Decorated by hand over a white glazed background, Caroline uses brushes and handmade tools to create her organic patterns. The vibrant pigments are predominantly made from natural minerals such as iron and copper. With a perfect pour, this dairy jug would feel right at home at the centre of a table setting. 

Materials and Care:

Measuring 26cm in height x 14cm in diameter (including handle), each jug bears the initials and stamp of the maker on the base. This piece is dishwasher safe. As each is made entirely by hand, slight variations in shape and pigment may apply.

There is a strict quality control regime in place at every stage of the making process, so as to avoid producing 'seconds' or wasting materials and power.  To optimise energy efficiency, each kiln load is packed to maximum capacity and only fired during off peak hours.
