The mug, less formal than the cup, is all about comfort. We reach for a mug when there’s no need to pretend to consume dainty quantities of tea or coffee. With function, a primary concern in her range of tableware, potter Helen Ennis from Dunbeacon Pottery obviously had this in mind when creating this generous mug. It offers ample volume for your favourite brew, while it’s tapered sides retain heat keeping your liquid sustenance warm to the lamst drop. Dishwasher and microwave safe this special mug doesn’t require special treatment. Available in three subtle glazes, its smaller sibling the ceramic coffee cup is also available in the same collection.
A while back we visited Helen's enviable studio on the Sheep's Head peninsula, read more about our trip here.
Dimensions: width at base: 105mm x height: 90mm (excluding handle), dimensions will slightly vary, as each is made individually by Helen in her West Cork studio.
