The first soaps to be made with purified Seawater. The Durrin Family in Carlingford uses Irish seawater and natural essential oils to make these wonderfully fragrant soaps. Handmade using simple traditional methods and with nothing extra added but pure sea ingredients. Each soap offers distinctive benefits.

The Sand Soap is exfoliating. Beach sand is combined with seawater, grapefruit, lemon, and rosemary to refresh and revitalise your skin.

The Sea Salt Soap has antibacterial qualities, combining patchouli, sweet orange, and lemon oils, it is fresh and cleansing.

The Seaweed Soap is moisturizing and nourishing. The seaweed is a natural detoxifier and the blend of patchouli, sweet orange and lemon give you a beach fresh aroma.

Each bar in its packaging measures 9cm x 5cm

Our Story

Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
