Large Terracotta Jug

Large Terracotta Jug

Helen Faulkner

Large Terracotta Jug data-zoom=

A large terracotta jug, for pouring drinks, or for holding a bunch of handpicked flowers. The natural qualities of this clay will keep your water (or sangria?!) refreshingly cool if you pop it in the fridge for a while.

Hand-thrown in terracotta clay in Belfast, Helen has chosen a beautiful, smooth, turquoise glaze that contrasts with the exposed dark clay perfectly. Each piece is marked on the base with the maker's mark and the lines and curves are evidence that each piece is made by hand.

Dimensions and Care:

This jug measures approx. 17cm tall and 11.5cm in diameter and holds 800ml. This piece is safe to use in the oven and dishwasher but not recommended for the microwave as the terracotta clay heats up very quickly.

Be sure to check out the smaller version of this jug here, which is perfect to use for milk or a serving of your favourite sauce.
