Hennessy & Byrne

Candlestick Holder data-zoom=

Solid brass is machined in Dublin and combined with Connemara marble to make this candlestick holder which is both weighty and sturdy.
Standing with the marble as a base it holds a standard dinner candle or turned to sit with the the brass on the bottom it can hold a pillar candle up to 8cm diameter.
Building on a family tradition of working with fine marble and granite which spans more than half a century,  second-generation master stonemason Eric Byrne established Hennessy & Byrne, producing a range that is entirely designed and handcrafted in their studio on the grounds of Russborough House in Blessington, Co. Wicklow.
Eric worked with us on the design of this piece, knowing intimately the restrictions and possibilities of working with stone. You can see more about the making process in the stories on our Instagram page.
Both our set of Four Candles and our pairs of dipped Irish beeswax candles look beautiful
This piece measures 60mm tall and 100mm in diameter at the widest point.
