A hand-painted porcelain bowl by one of Ireland's most well-regarded ceramicists Adam Frew. Adam makes clean, simple forms on the potters' wheel. His perfectly formed tableware is decorated in spontaneous mark-making, a contrast to the finely thrown porcelain. Sharp lines, crayon scribbles, brush marks, sponged back sections reflect the energy and passion Adam invests in his craft.
Each small bowl varies in design, the consistent feature of this style being the unglazed band of colour across the centre. Adam Frew uses rich teals, navy blues, and speckles of burnt orange to contrast with the cool white porcelain. Each bowl measures 10cm in height and 14cm across the widest point. As each bowl is hand made, the dimensions may vary slightly. Sold individually.
Adam Frew is a potter based in rural Northern Ireland.
