Jane Stud Earrings
Names-Lineage

These oddly shaped earrings are handcrafted in a choice of 3mm thick gold plated brass or solid sterling silver. The sides are left matte which is a lovely contrast to the polished face. As is customary with our earrings, we use sterling silver earring posts to avoid irritation for the wearer. Each piece of jewellery in our Lineage collection is named after a woman in each of our families:
Jane experienced a privileged upbringing in West Wicklow. An accomplished horse rider & huntswoman, in the early 1900’s, she ran away to marry a railway man, who later became a stationmaster in Enniscorthy. Jane was Clare’s great grandmother.
Each stud measures 7mm in length x 9mm in width (at their widest points) x 3mm in depth. Your earrings will be delivered beautifully packaged with a card detailing Jane's story, making them an ideal gift. Full care instructions are included here.

Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
