The sculptural outline of the large pendants reference the altered, solid forms of the small pendants in the Homespun collection. A mix of straight lines and gentle curves, the Lucy Pendant is formed in 2mm thick silver which provides a strong silhouette to this statement piece with contrasting matte and polished finishes. Hanging on a 24inch long anchor chain, a custom made clasp with the stamped Names logo complete the necklace. Also available in 18ct gold plated silver.  Each piece of jewellery within our Homespun collection is named after a woman who was involved in The Country Shop:

Lucy Franks was another instigator of what The Country Shop would become. It was Lucy who suggested they serve teas and lunches in addition to showcasing real Irish homespun tweeds and crafts. This proved to be the true success of The Country Shop, which became an institution, a favourite lunch spot for Dubliners and country visitors alike. It was through the funds earned in the cafe that Muriel was able to support and promote the poorer, isolated craft workers around the country.

-The above information was attained from Geraldine Mitchell's book on the life and work of Muriel Gahan 'Deeds not Words'

The pendant measures 23mm in diameter x 10mm in depth.
