Tree at Portobello
Martina Scott

The English Plane is widely planted as a street tree in large cities as it copes well with pollution and compacted soils, so, very well suited to the area around Portobello in Dublin.
Martina was captivated by the trees on a stroll around Dublin one day and added it to her series titled 'Summer Walks'. The large strong solitary tree is striking in the image which has been screen-printed by hand in two colours onto textured, handmade paper.
The paper is mounted on sturdy card measuring 32cm x 42cm. It is signed and numbered as one of a limited edition of 100 prints.
