There's no doubt that cold winter evenings are made for luxury; a crackling fire, a good book and a hot water bottle to cosy up with. These pure cashmere miniature hot water bottles are made by Burren-based knitwear studio, Ekotree. Knitted with 100% handspun cashmere in the West of Ireland, the pattern is inspired by traditional Irish pearl stitches and is available in a range of shades from Charcoal Grey to Forest Green.

Materials and care:

Dimensions: Each hot water bottle measures 28cm x 16cm, and includes a German made 100% natural rubber hot water bottle. 100% fine cashmere cover. Wash by hand using warm water and a gentle detergent only and allow to dry laying flat. Do not machine wash or dry.

Sustainability:

Designed and made in Clare, Ekotree's studio focuses on environmental policies that promote the Burren Ecotourism Network and the Cliffs of Moher Geopark. When possible, they use natural yarns and fibers, recycle all materials used at the studio and use biodegradable substances. Each piece is milled and softened using harvested rainwater, and their advanced knitting techniques allows for almost zero waste.
