This pack of 6 greeting cards features 3 lively scenes of Joanna Martin’s locality on the Northern coast of Ireland. Each image is reproduced from her original linocut prints.
One card features a Curlew and some Redshank foraging on the seashore as the boats and birds sail by in the background. Both birds are winter visitors to Ireland and generally reside around the coasts, lakes, and rivers of the Shannon and Northern coastline.
The second card has a similar view but featuring a couple of friendly seals popping their heads up to see what's going on. Seals are very common around the Irish coast and are very friendly curious creatures
The third card is an image of Joanna’s own garden in the countryside, full of wild nettles and foxglove, where she grows her own vegetables and keeps many free-range hens and cockerels.
There are two copies of each design in the pack, they measure 105mm x 148mm, printed on thick 300gm 100% recycled card and come with brown Kraft envelopes, all tied together with sisal twine.
