A soft, warm and practical baby blanket produced by knitwear studio Ekotree who are based in the Burren, Co. Clare.

Merino wool is used in this knitted blanket for its breathability and moisture management. Merino wool breathes and manages moisture better than any other fibre, making it an ideal, natural material to snuggle up in. Available in four neutral colours: apple, natural, baby blue, and coral. The yarn has a lovely, subtle fleck running through it.

There are no harsh seams and each blanket is finished beautifully, ensuring it will last a lifetime.

Materials and Care: 

Each blanket measures approx 70cm squared. Wash at a low temperature on a gentle cycle. Line dry.

Sustainability:

Designed and made in Clare, Ekotree's studio focuses on environmental policies that promote the Burren Ecotourism Network and the Cliffs of Moher Geopark. When possible, they use natural yarns and fibers, recycle all materials used at the studio and use biodegradable substances. Their cashmere garments are dyed with shades derived from plants, roots and berries. Each piece is milled and softened using harvested rainwater, and their advanced knitting techniques allows for almost zero waste.
