Small but mighty this sturdy bag is designed to hold it’s own against the elements. The perfect size for ‘on the go’ essentials for urban or country rambles it can accommodate items such as an ipad, notebook or binoculars. Made from naturally water resistant 14oz duck canvas with fittings of solid brass and cotton webbing straps, these durable materials age well, developing character with time and wear. The closing flap is lined with a plush corduroy and fastens with AE’s signature D ring chord & tie.  With an outer pocket at the back, there is also an inner pocket to keep items such as key or phone secure. Available in three colours red, tan and moss green.

Our Story

Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
