West of Ireland weaver Wild Cocoon creates cowls and blankets by hand using a traditional floor loom with 100% merino lambswool. Based in Claremorris, Co. Mayo, designer and maker Deirdre Duffy takes inspiration from the rural  landscapes just outside her studio door to create painterly woven creations, such as early morning mist and fog, summer sea swims, and evening sunsets.

This Hillside Walks cowl takes inspiration from Mayo mountains, using autumnal colours such as mustards, mossy greens, rich chocolate browns and bright lilacs to illustrate a hillside trail in the natural countryside. Can be worn like a cosy wrapped scarf, or pulled up to create a hood during colder months. Other patterns and colours include the Beyond Darkness, Shallow Seas and Misty Morning cowl, as well as blankets in the same series.

Care: Hand wash in cool water, line dry, and steam press on the label side. Each cowl is roughly 53cm x 100cm.
