Barrow Bed Blanket

Cushendale

Barrow Bed Blanket data-zoom=

Inspired by the blankets of our past and drawing on traditional influences Cushendale Woolen Mills have created this familiar, iconic bed blanket. These heavyweight blankets are proven to give a better night's sleep with the warmth and density of natural wool. Woven from Irish wool, the Barrow bed blanket traces its origin exclusively from Irish fleece, in particular, the ‘Galway’ sheep that are bred by Gordon a local sheep farmer in Co. WexfordThe fleece is all dyed, carded, and spun at the mill in Graignamanagh Co. Kilkenny.

The grey colour is Inspired by the natural slate of the local Duiske Abbey, and is finished with a contrasting oxide red blanket stitch edging. The dark pink throw takes its colour from the distinctive natural Foxglove that can be seen throughout summer in the Irish hedgerows.

The twin blanket measures a generous 230cm × 180cm and weighs almost 2kg
