Domenique is an illustrator based in the beautiful Wicklow Mountains, Ireland. Here you can find her hiking amongst the cliffs or painting in her little seaside house with her two dogs (Nina and Heidi) by her side. She is inspired by nature, the feeling of nostalgia, earthy colours and the magic of fictional stories.

We asked Domenique to create a print exclusively for Irish Design Shop. We chose Lough Ouler, the heart-shaped lake nestled in the Wicklow mountains. Like Domenique, we also love hiking in this stunning part of Wicklow. (If you are planning a hike up Tonelagee to visit this lake, be sure to go during dry weather, the trails can be VERY boggy in wet weather! Particularly if you are approaching from the Glenmacnass side.)
