Offaly native Emily McKeagney is a super talented graphic design student based in Dublin. Emily began exploring her unique style of illustration in the margins of her school copy books. This print of the iconic Luggala is part of a series based on Irish walks. We asked Emily to create a print exclusive for Irish Design Shop, and being fans of hiking in the Wicklow mountains, Luggala seemed an obvious choice. This gorgeous print is available in A3 size and A2 size. Pair the A3 size with a Rocker Lane Workshop frame which compliments Emily's minimal, graphic style perfectly. The impressive A2 size deserves a bespoke handmade frame (We use Dublin Picture Framing on Castle Market)

Details:

Professionally giclee printed on Hahnemühle Cotton Rag 308gsm, and packaged in eco-friendly compostable plastic and cardboard backing.

The A3 size measures 297 x 420mm. Hand signed by the artist. A2 size measures: 420 x 594 mm

Sustainability:

Printing her illustrations locally in Stillorgan, Emily trims, packages and delivers each print herself. The packaging that accompanies Emily’s prints are as eco-friendly as can be with; with compostable protective sleeves, and a backing board made of recycled paper. If a miss-print occurs, there is a conscious effort made to reimagine it, or to reduce the price so as to avoid any additional waste.

Sourcing paper, inks and packaging from local companies is a priority for Emily, and allows her business to grow whilst supporting other independent businesses.
