**this calendar runs from January to December 2023**

Our 2023 calendar features the work of 12 prestigious artists based in Ireland, who took part in the Hang Tough Contemporary exhibition Páipéar. Printed in Dublin, the cover image portrays the work of Emma O'Hara and features beautiful silver foil detailing on matte 300gsm paper. The layout has been carefully considered and designed by Anchor Studio and features lots of space for you to mark and take note of important dates. Each image is perforated, giving you twelve ready-to-frame prints that pair perfectly with our magnetic photo frames made by Pat Murphy in Cork.

Each artist represents a month in the calendar, and in order of appearance are as follows;

Lauren O'Hara, Jane Fogarty, Alan Clarke, Fergal Styles, Emma O'Hara, David Lunney, Aoife Scott, Colm Mac Athlaoich, Superfolk, Kym Tracey, Hanneke van Ryswyk and Ailbhe Barrett.

Páipéar:

In the Summer of 2022, Hang Tough Contemporary launched its most ambitious project to date: a large scale exhibition of 115 original works entitled ‘Páipéar’.  This groundbreaking arts event consisted of a dynamic selection of prestigious Irish artists - as well as artists whose practice is based in Ireland - who had been invited to submit an original work on paper.

The show encompassed 61 female and 54 male mid-career established artists, as well as the most promising emerging and burgeoning talent that Ireland has to offer. Standardising the medium to that of the humble page, Hang Tough Contemporary were able to unify this body of works into a cohesive collection that represented the abundance of national talent.

This calendar is a wall-hanging calendar.

Dimensions when folded out: 70cm in length x 31cm in width. The interior pages are printed on matte, 200gsm paper stock
