Expertly crafted in native Irish beech, this pig platter is the latest hardwood creation from Saturday Workshop, a Sandymount based studio. This beech platter is a fresh take on the traditional serving board and is perfect for everything from sides or tapas to mezzes and antipasti. Designed to be food safe and easy-to-clean by hand.

Dimensions:

This platter measures approx 27 x 14cm, and features a rope handle tail for easy storage, although we think it looks too good to store away! As each board is uniquely handmade, variances will occur in wood grain and colour. This is not intended as a toy.

If you like this..

We think you'll love the salt and pepper pinch pots also made by Saturday Workshop. Their pared back design, and perfect finish make them an excellent addition to any dinner table. Check them out here.

Sustainability:

Saturday Workshop create simple. yet practical wooden pieces from locally sourced, native Irish hardwoods. With functionality in mind, their work is designed to be used and loved for a long time.

All of the timber used in Saturday Workshop products comes from sustainably managed forests in Ireland. The beech trees had been planted over two hundred years ago, and felled by Winter storms to be eventually processed by local companies.

Their boxes are made up of recycled card, and are assembled by hand, with labels printed and pasted on in Dublin.
