Rosehips
Martina Scott

Rosehips are beautiful red/orange berries that grow prolifically around bushes and hedgerows in late Autumn as the remnants of the wild dog rose. They are prized for their high content of vitamin C and because of their relation to the apple, it makes a delicious medicinal syrup.
Martina's sprigs of rosehip are screen printed on Irish linen, one of a limited edition of 250. The print itself measures 12cm x 12cm within a mount that measures 23cm x 23cm which fits perfectly in our small square Rockerlane Workshop frames.
Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
