A small lidded salt pot handcrafted in terracotta by Jemma Millen in Co. Antrim. The surface of the pot is unglazed, allowing the sea salt to breathe - other salt pots are sometimes glazed internally or externally which makes the salt sweat - this is bad for your salt! The 'salt' imprint design is represented on one half - the other side is plain. this little pot is the perfect addition to your kitchen, would make an ideal small housewarming gift.

Item is food safe and suitable to be used as a cup for liquids. Unglazed ceramic areas can get extremely hot in the microwave. Please hand wash all handmade ceramics.

Each pot is handmade by Jemma in her studio based in County Antrim, Northern Ireland surrounded by beautiful countryside. As each piece is handmade, slight variations will occur. There is a small hole in the lid, necessary when firing the pot in the kiln.

Dimensions: 8cm in diameter and 7.5cm tall.
