Seoidín Ring - Irish Design Shop data-zoom=

*We will not be taking orders for rings until February 2021*

A sculptural ring in our trademark geometric style. Designed to be worn individually or stacked with others in the Terrain collection (as shown in the last image). Each ring within this range is handcrafted to order in the workshop above our Drury street shop, so please allow a max of 3 weeks for us to complete your order. Available in a choice of either recycled sterling silver or 9ct gold*, to ensure that you have the correct size before placing your order, we have compiled this useful guide to help ensure your ring is the perfect fit.

Dimensions: The band measure 2mm squared. The feature element measures 12mm in length x 6mm wide x 7mm in height.

Each piece in our Terrain collection is named after a contemporary Irish maker or sculptor:

A contemporary artist and educator, Seoidín O’Sullivan works collaboratively, focusing on people joining together. Her practice addresses issues of land use, social justice and biodiversity. Creative output includes drawings, video, publications, walks and exchange.

*The sterling silver and 9kt gold we use in our jewellery collections comes from a certified refiner of recycled precious metal in Germany. Dealing with their local agent here in Dublin, we order metal to our specifications (be that bullion for casting, bar or sheet) produced from smelted, pre-loved jewellery and objects. Any metal ‘waste’ created during the making process is returned to our supplier to be recycled back into the process.

Our Story

Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
