This rustic four-legged stool is made entirely from locally sourced Sycamore in Co. Wicklow where James lives and works surrounded by forests. The seat is made from ‘slabwood’, a term that refers to the first cut of the log on the mill which came from a tree felled in Newcastle and the legs are made from a forestry thinning in Rathnew. They are jointed with round mortice and tenons and finished with matt Osmo oil. The traditional methods used to make these stools make them sturdy and reliable. They are great used either as a small stool or somewhere to rest your cup of tea.

Dimensions: Each stool is unique so dimensions vary. The seat is approx 30cm x 20cm and is about 35cm tall.
