Rocker Lane Workshop

Rocker Lane Workshop

Seán Fogarty and Michael Hefernan started Rocker Lane Workshop back in 2012. The young architect and experienced carpenter both shared a vision of creating a collection of 100% sustainable furniture, using reclaimed timber floor boards.

With Seán's passion for sustainable design and Michael's experience of working with timber for over 45 years, the duo create beautifully simple shapes for the home, in their North Tipperary workshop.

Sustainability:

Crafting bespoke frames from reclaimed dancefloors, Seán and Michael  combine the past and the present and have shifted the perspective on reusing archival materials.

Mikey produces the frames by hand in their rural workshop, in the townland of Rocker, North Tipperary. Sean is an architect, who has specialised in the field of Design and Sustainability in Oslo, and sources the floorboards.
