Siobhan Earrings
Earrings

The sloping geometric shape of our Siobhán earrings, inspired by rock formations of the Burren is a shape we revisit often in our jewellery. Handcrafted in a choice of either solid silver or 9kt gold, the silhouette shape makes these earrings super lightweight. The profile is polished whereas the sides are left matte. Perfect for everyday wear.
Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers. Siobhán Hapaska is a Belfast-born sculptor.
Each earring measures 17mm in length x 11mm in width (at the widest point) x 1.5mm in thickness.

Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
