Set up and run by jewellers, Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey, Irish Design Shop is a small business that prides itself on promoting the work of some of Ireland’s most exciting designer-makers.
Trading both online and from a brick-and-mortar shop in Dublin town, an emphasis is placed on original design and craftsmanship. In 2018, an additional floor was added to the shop with a focus on showcasing the in-house jewellery collection Names. Central to the space, there is a functioning jeweller's workbench where customers can see work in production. Established and emerging makers are represented across both shop floors, the common thread being a passion for the handmade, and an appreciation for Irish heritage crafts.
Our Drury Street shop can be found in the heart of Dublin city centre's Creative Quarter. Open seven days a week, our opening hours are as follows:
Monday to Saturday: 10am to 6pm
Sundays: 12pm to 6pm
During the Summer months, our shop closes at 5pm on Saturdays between May and September. Please check Google for up to date shop opening hours.
