This beautifully crafted milking stool by Studio Harris in Kerry, is hardworking, durable and versatile. The Milking Stool is a modern interpretation, giving a stylish, tactile design that is both sturdy and portable and takes inspiration from Irish country furniture. Made from native Irish ash and handcrafted with traditional techniques. A milk paint edge in either Navy or Green gives a pop of colour and combines beautifully with the wood. Traditional skills are utilised to produce each solid wooden stool. This product is crafted in small batches

Dimensions:

Each stool measures 45cm in length x 35cm width and stand 51cm tall.

Wood is a natural material where the grain and colour varies and it will naturally age over time. Although the quality of wood means it is a long-lasting material and the aging process can add character compared to synthetic materials, it is still important to look after wood and to take care not to mistreat furniture and wooden products. The wood should be re-oiled on an occasional basis when signs of wear start to appear. OSMO clear matte 3062 is the sepcific oil used to finish this stool.
OSMO use carefully harvested natural oils (sunflower, soya, linseed and thistle oils) and hard waxes (carnauba and candelilla waxes) for its finishes.

If you like this...

We think it pairs wonderfully with the tweed throw pictured, hand-woven in Donegal by Eddie Doherty.

*Please note that due to the weight and dimensions of this piece, it cannot be ordered for delivery, only store pick-up.
