A soft, warm and practical baby hat produced by knitwear studio Ekotree who are based in the Burren, Co. Clare. Merino wool is used in this fisherman-style hat, chosen for its breathability and moisture management. Merino wool breathes and manages moisture better than any other fibre, making it an ideal, natural material to keep babies snug and cosy.  Available in five shades of Mint, Pink, Sky blue, Sage green and Natural beige.

Materials and Care:

Lying flat, these hats measure 14cm x 15cm. They will fit newborns but also have a soft stretch to fit older babies too. Suitable for newborns to toddlers. Wash at a low temperature on a gentle cycle. Line dry.

Sustainability:

Designed and made in Clare, Ekotree's studio focuses on environmental policies that promote the Burren Ecotourism Network and the Cliffs of Moher Geopark. When possible, they use natural yarns and fibers, recycle all materials used at the studio and use biodegradable substances. Their cashmere garments are dyed with shades derived from plants, roots and berries. Each piece is milled and softened using harvested rainwater, and their advanced knitting techniques allows for almost zero waste.
