Seaweed baths have been in Ireland since the early 1900’s when they were more popular and widespread, with baths located in most large seaside towns from Enniscrone to Howth. Mungo Murphy's Single Sea-Bag contains approximately 50g of dried and ground Laminaria Digitata from the wild Atlantic waters of Connemara. By steeping the dried seaweed in steaming hot water and adding it to your bath, you create a deep oily soak which improves blood circulation, detoxifies the body, softens stiff muscles, improves thyroid health and helps alleviate the symptoms of acne, psoriasis and eczema.

If you're looking for more natural seaweed products from Mungo's, you can shop their soap and facemask here.
