A generously sized mohair blanket woven by Kilkenny mill, Cushendale. This heritage mill use the highest quality, traditionally hand-dyed mohair yarns to produce their latest collection. With a clear contemporary influence, this throw features striking layers of complementary shades.

Choose between four unique colour options: Night, Owl, Olive and Slate. Designed, woven and hand-finished by the Cushendale team of highly skilled makers.

Materials and Care:

Each blanket measures 203cm in length x 137cm in width. 70% Mohair 30% Wool. Wool should always be hand washed. Wool fibres have many scales/cuticle cells that protect the outer layer of the fibre, machine washing can destroy the textile’s softness. Gentle hand washing will help prevent pilling and maintain your wool textiles in the best condition.

 If you like this...

Then you are sure to be drawn to the Silare mohair scarf by Cushendale. Available in the same colour options, the Silare scarf is super soft and luxurious.

Sustainability:

Heritage mill Cushendale use Irish wool fleece that comes from selected partner farmers from Galway to Wexford, their lambswool yarn from an English heritage spinning mill and the Mohair yarn comes from one supplier in Italy. Cushendale dye, spin and weave their textiles under the one very old roof. Wool is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable.
