Dipping Bowl
Precisely crafted to create neatly stackable pieces, this dipping bowl by Rosemarie Durr is the perfect size for everyday use from breakfast through to dinner. Ideal as a serving dish at parties for cheese, olives, or nibbles, or simply quieter nights in for a midnight snack.
If you prefer a smaller bowl Rosemarie’s mini bowl is a perfect option. For the ideal housewarming gift, pair with a pestle and mortar from our Áras collection, in collaboration with master woodturner, Matt Jones.
Dimensions: Each bowl measures approximately 7.5cm in height x 12cm wide.
Having trained in world renowned Potter Skills course in Thomastown, Kilkenny in 1996, Rosemarie worked as a production potter in some of Ireland's leading pottery studios for several years.
In 2004 she opened her studio shop with her husband Andrew Ludick in Castlecomer Estate Yard and Discovery Park.
Craftsmanship and design are key to Rosemarie's work. Her Stacking Range is a new departure in her work, having previously delighted in the uniqueness of the hand thrown, her aim with this collection is to streamline her pieces. It’s a collection that relies on technical precision, there is no room for error in creating these interlocking pieces which really showcase her skill as a potter.
Each piece is thrown on the wheel using stoneware clay
