And for Mains...
And for Mains is the brainchild of Gareth Smith and Rick Higgins, a chef and a butcher with a passion for food and an even bigger passion for life. This book was born out of a desire to share their knowledge, stories and recipes with the people who they know love all the same things that they do.
In this, their first cookbook, they combine the recipes for meat feasts, seafood classics, with stories of the food scene in Ireland, from the inside scoop on Irish beef, the reality of crab fishing in the Irish Sea and the search for the capital's best pints.
Photography plays a key role in bringing this cook book to life, with food and lifestyle photographer Katie Quinn and portrait photographer John Murray capturing the essence of the duo, and what they're all about.
This is a hardback book measuring 290mm x 250mm, with 63 recipes.

Kristin Jensen is the publisher and editor at Nine Bean Rows and Blasta Books. Frustrated that many voices and many parts of our food culture were not being represented, she founded this boutique publishing house in 2021 to update the story of the modern, diverse and vibrant food scene in Ireland
