Anne Necklace
The sloping geometric shape of our Anne necklace, inspired by rock formations of the Burren is a shape we revisit often in our jewellery. Handcrafted in a choice of either solid silver or 9ct gold, the hollow form sits on a strong, yet fine, uncomplicated chain. The wearer has the option of wearing this chain at two lengths, either 16inches or 18inches. A beautiful, subtle piece of jewellery, our Anne necklace is perfect for everyday wear.
This necklace is named after Anne Butler, who is a Belfast-based ceramicist.
Dimensions: The Anne pendant measures 19mm in length x 6mm in width x 4mm in depth. The chain is 18inches long.
Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers.
Each necklace made in silver and 9 ct gold is hallmarked in the Dublin Assay office, located a short stroll from our workshop in historic Dublin Castle. The stamps include our unique makers mark of CGD followed by the unique Dublin marks.
Below, you will find our suggestions for jewellery pieces that best compliment these necklaces.
Each piece of jewellery is crafted by hand in our neighbouring workshop. We carefully source our raw materials from respected suppliers here in Dublin and use all recycled silver and gold. All waste material generated in the making process goes back to our supplier as scrap metal. Each batch of finished jewellery is hand delivered to our Drury Street shop.
