At The End of The Day
Screen printed on textured, Fabriano paper at Martina's studio in Carlingford Co. Louth, this print is part of a series inspired by Martina's many walks in nature, during a time when the world was at a standstill.
This two-colour screen-print features vivid green grass with black delineated trees and shade. The shadows are long, reaching down through the field, evoking the calm feeling of the day as it prepares to turn to night. There is an awareness of time passing and retrospection, which is a perspective Martina is often drawn to.
The Fabriano paper is float-mounted on a sturdy board measuring 32cm x 42cm. They are signed by the artist and numbered as one of an edition of 200 prints. Due to the handmade nature of this product slight tone variations may occur.
