Burren Wall

This image was taken of a segment of the Burren walls that span Co. Clare and the Aran Islands, in the southwest of Ireland. Captured by Norman, this moody photograph showcases the hand-built limestone rock wall, constructed by hands many years ago.

Norman McCloskey has been photographing the landscape of Kerry, West Cork and beyond since 1992. He draws endless inspiration from the ever-changing light that each season brings. Throughout this time his connection to the landscape has deepened and continues to grow.
