Clare Necklace

Handcrafted in solid brass, our Clare necklace is formed by altering a hexagonal shape. A new perspective is achieved which is highlighted by the contrasting matte and polished finishes. Hanging on a 1.5mm durable ball chain that measures 32" in length, this satisfyingly weighty pendant hangs centered on the wearer.  

This necklace is named after Clare, who is co-designer/creator of Names. 

The gold-plated brass chain is 32'' long and the pendant is 18mm in length x 18mm in width x 18mm in depth. 

Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers.  

We use hard wearing 18ct gold plating when finishing our brass & silver necklaces. The plating gives these necklaces a luxurious finish.

Each necklace made in recycled silver is hallmarked in the Dublin Assay office, located a short stroll from our workshop in historic Dublin Castle.

Each piece of jewellery is crafted by hand in our neighbouring workshop. We carefully source our raw materials from respected suppliers here in Dublin and use all recycled silver and gold. All waste material generated in the making process goes back to our supplier as scrap metal. Each batch of finished jewellery is hand delivered to our Drury Street shop.
