Coastline Pasta Bowl

Formed by hand, these bowls are perfect for serving a hearty bowl of pasta or a side dish of veg. Glazed in a mix of colours and textures to reflect the image of the sea crashing on the shore of a sandy beach, each one is completely unique. The edges of the bowl are wavy and uneven and they beautifully, imperfectly, round so they do not stack evenly like cast pieces.

Sold individually each plate measures approx. 21cm diameter, 4cm high, holding approx 500ml

In her studio in Ardgillan Castle in North Dublin, Ola creates gorgeous seaside inspired ceramics that are sure to be a conversation starter in any home.

Making since 2016, Ola uses a combination of slipcasting and hand building to create each piece. She uses stoneware clay that has a lot of character - like sand, speckled and warm. They are allowed to dry slowly, bisque-fired, glazed, and finally fired again.

Each piece is unique, and admittedly, a little wonky: perfectly imperfect.

Ola uses food and dishwasher safe materials, however for frequent use we recommend hand-washing to preserve the durability of each piece.
