Bláinid earrings

These earrings create impact while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear. Formed in 2mm square silver wire, the polished elements reflect light and complement the matte finish. The Bláinid earrings have a lovely sense of movement, a joy to wear. Also available in hard-wearing, 18ct gold-plated silver. Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers. Bláinid Reddin was a Dublin waitress, and part of Muriel Gahan's cooperative movement of the 1930's. 

Each earring measures 40mm in height x 20mm in width x 2mm in depth. The stud part of the earring measures 6mm in diameter.
