Doldrum Bay, Howth

Home Water is a collection of photographic prints featuring some of our favourite swim spots around Dublin. Created by Niall Meehan of Sea Studio exclusively for Irish Design Shop, each photograph is taken from the sea by avid sea swimmer Niall.

This image was taken in Doldrum Bay, on the south side of Howth. Frequented by seals, cormorants and locals alike, this secluded spot has stunning views across Dublin bay to the city, Dalkey Island, and the mountains beyond. The geology of the rock and cliffs provide a stunning focal point in this image.

Each print is an edition of 30, signed and numbered by Niall on Hannemühle 308gm, 100% cotton paper, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Available in a choice of two sizes; the small print, which is mounted, measures 297mm wide x 325mm deep. The large print comes unmounted measuring 420mm x 420mm, including 15mm white border (pictured), and is supplied rolled in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard tube.
