Donegal Tweed Cushion

A substantial, beautifully textured Donegal Tweed cushion handwoven by Amo Kilfeather in her Donegal home. The colours, textures, and patterns of Amo's work are inspired by the rugged landscape of Donegal. Woven on her double-width loom in 100% New Wool Donegal yarns, each cushion is filled with duck down, hand sewn and finished by Amo. 

Available in a base colour of Ivory or Oatmeal, each cushion is unique, an heirloom piece made to be treasured and loved. Perfect on the sofa or your favourite armchair! 

Each cushion measures approx. 18" x 18" / 45cm x 45cm, comes filled with high quality duck down. 

Amo Kilfeather is a Donegal-based handweaver with a passion for our heritage fabrics. Her distinctive tweeds are handwoven on a double-width handloom in her home. Amo only uses 100% New Wool from Donegal Yarns of Kilcar when weaving.

This method is a slow and intricate process. "It is a part of Irish Heritage I am so lucky to have a place in. My work is inspired by the atmospheric weather and changing seasonal landscapes of this part of the country infused with my love of all things natural"- Amo.

Donegal tweed is very resilient to wear and tear. If you wish to wash this fabric, handwashing in lukewarm water is advised. Dry flat and never tumble dry.
