Stained Glass Sweets

Inspired by memories of sharing glistening sweets by the soft twinkling glow of coloured Christmas lights, Dublin maker Ali Moore makes each unique decoration by hand in a choice of nostalgic colours. Each one of a kind decoration is designed, cut and soldered by Ali and reflects her fascination with how light interacts with color, transforming ordinary spaces into kaleidoscopes of joy. 

Ali Graduated in 2019 from Jewellery and Object Design in NCAD. She discovered the joy of stained glass during a one day workshop, and knew immediately that this was the material for her! A fluent Irish speaker, these glass sweets are the first product to be released under her brand; GLOINE. "Gloine is the Irish word for glass, a simple term that feels a little magic."- Ali

Ali’s work invites you to slow down, look closer, and to find magic in the mundane. Dimensions: Each sweet measures approx 12cm x 3.5cm (The orange sweet measures approx 9cm x 5cm) and hangs from a festive red ribbon, 11cm in length. As every sweet is entirely unique, dimensions will vary slightly.
