House Socks

Cosy wool socks made in the town of Glenties, Donegal in a traditional flecked yarn. Their durability and warmth make these socks ideal for hikes, treks, or simply wearing around the house. Making a perfect gift, the paper wraparound has been designed by Dublin illustrator Anne O'Hara. These socks are available in two sizes; S/M, which is EU 37-41 or M/L, which is EU 41-45. We cannot seem to edit down the gorgeous selection of colours, so hence the many product photos to accompany these cosy socks!

From the town of Glenties on the North West Coast of Ireland, the Breslin family are the third generation of a family sock and knitwear business, endeavouring to hold on to the skills that their forefathers bore. The rugged patterns of mountains and moor intertwine with hues of wild sea and blue sky in the patchwork weave of colour that is Ireland’s Donegal. Great pride is taken to keep the tradition alive in every pair of socks they manufacture, surrounded by the Bluestack Mountains. 

Wash gently at 30 degrees, or on a cool wool wash. Do not iron. Not suitable for dry cleaning.
