Irish tweed coasters

This pack of 6 tweed coasters is made from offcuts of Ronan Hanna's signature chunky Donegal tweed, making them thoroughly durable and hard-wearing. The frayed edges add extra texture to the traditional weaves.
Each set contains 3 pairs of complementary colours and patterns with a mix of herringbone and speckled weaves made using 100% merino wool with the traditional Donegal flecks of colour running through the yarn of the warp and weft.
Dry clean only. Each coaster measures 12cm x 12cm

Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
