Linen derives from the flax plant; which grows without irrigation or pesticides, and per hectare can capture up to 3.7 tonnes of CO2.
Our wildflower linen tea towels are woven in Donegal, and are then dyed and finished in Kells in an eco-mill, powered by 100% renewable energy.
Both the linen and the led-free water based pigments used are GOTS certified, and the tea-towels feature timeless colours and patterns, rather than being trend driven.
Linen is a material that gets better with age, with each wash it becomes softer and is actually more absorbent the longer it’s in use, making it an excellent sustainable choice!
