Laura Necklace
Handcrafted in solid brass, our Laura necklace comprises two forms that hang on a strong and durable 32" 1.5mm ball chain. These shapes shift and move with the wearer revealing contrasting matte and polished surfaces. Finished in a hard-wearing yellow 18ct gold plating on solid brass, this necklace is incredibly tactile, hanging long on the body.
This necklace is named after Laura, who is co-designer/creator of Names.
Dimensions: The gold-plated brass chain is 32" long. The larger semi-circular form measures 20mm in height x 10mm in width x 10mm in depth. The smaller circular form measures 12mm in diameter and is 10mm in depth.
Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers.
We use hard wearing 18ct gold plating when finishing our brass & silver necklaces. The plating gives these necklaces a luxurious finish.
Each necklace made in recycled silver is hallmarked in the Dublin Assay office, located a short stroll from our workshop in historic Dublin Castle.
Below, you will find our suggestions for jewellery pieces that best compliment these earrings.
Each piece of jewellery is crafted by hand in our neighbouring workshop. We carefully source our raw materials from respected suppliers here in Dublin and use all recycled silver and gold. All waste material generated in the making process goes back to our supplier as scrap metal. Each batch of finished jewellery is hand delivered to our Drury Street shop.
