Lillie earrings
These statement Lillie earrings are formed in 2mm square wire. The polished elements reflect light and complement the matte finish. A joy to wear, they move with the wearer and have a lovely tactile quality. Available in a choice of solid sterling silver or gold plated sterling silver, our Lillie earrings create impact while remaining lightweight and super comfortable to wear. If your preference is for a more delicate earring, Lillie is available in a miniature size here.
These earrings are named after Lillie Curtain, who was part of Muriel Gahan's cooperative movement of the 1930's.
Each earring measures 18mm in width x 38mm in height x 2mm in depth
Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers.
We use hard wearing 18ct gold plating when finishing our brass & silver earrings. The plating gives these earrings a luxurious finish.
Each pair of earrings made in recycled silver is hallmarked in the Dublin Assay office, located a short stroll from our workshop in historic Dublin Castle.
Below, you will find our suggestions for jewellery pieces that best compliment these earrings.
Each piece of jewellery is crafted by hand in our neighbouring workshop. We carefully source our raw materials from respected suppliers here in Dublin and use all recycled silver and gold. All waste material generated in the making process goes back to our supplier as scrap metal. Each batch of finished jewellery is hand delivered to our Drury Street shop.
